The Pound fell for a second day versus the Dollar, decreasing nearly half a cent as data showed additional signs of slowing in the U.K. economy.
Yesterday’s slide came ahead of U.K. construction data that revealed expansion in March but short of economist’s forecasts, in the latest assessment of the nation’s economy as it prepares its exit from EU.
This morning at 9:30am, UK Services PMI Data is expected to grow from last month to 53.50.
Sterling fell 0.4% to 1.2440 against the Dollar, after a 0.5% decline on Monday. The Pound was little changed against the Euro at 1.1642.
