The Pound continued to decline against both the Dollar and the Euro yesterday after an array of bad news for the UK economy. Sterling fell 0.6% versus the Euro to 1.1162 and 1.1% against the Dollar to 1.3066.
The fall come on the back of poor manufacturing & construction figures earlier on in the week and a concern over Theresa May’s future.
UK car sales decline to 9.3% last month marking the first year on year fall in 6 years.
US Non-Farm payrolls are due today at 13:30 and are only expecting to have added 80,000 jobs in comparison to 156,000 last month. Whilst there unemployment rate is expected to have no change at 4.4%.
The Pound is currently trading at 1.3065 against the Dollar and 1.1172 versus the Euro.
