Pound Extends Losses After Construction PMI

The Pound fell this morning after UK construction PMI declined more than expected last month September, falling below the key 50.0 no-change threshold.

Construction PMI fell to 48.1 missing expectations of 51.1.

The decline below the key level of 50.0 shows that the UK construction industry is shrinking.

The Pound extended its losses after the data was released falling to 1.3238 against the Dollar and 1.1279 versus the Euro.

Data to look out for today.
