The Pound rose across the board this morning after UK services PMI exceeded expectations. Economists had expected no change at 53.2 however the result was 53.6 which is easily above the 50.0 growth level.
This left the pound 0.3% higher versus the Dollar at 1.3284 and higher against the Euro to a high of 1.1286.
New business volumes grew at its lowest pace in over a year.
The Pound is now trading at 1.3259 against the Dollar and 1.1281 versus the Euro.
