The Pound weakened versus the Dollar, prolonging its biggest fall since 2010.
Sterling’s slide yesterday took it to the lowest level in nearly seven years after Boris Johnson said he’ll campaign for Britain to exit the EU in the June referendum. The Pound’s 1.8% fall was its biggest since May 6, 2010.
BOE officials are unlikely to address the U.K.’s referendum and this won’t solve the market’s scepticism towards the pound.
The pound slid 0.3% to 1.4108 as of 8:08 a.m. Sterling fell to 1.4058 on yesterday, the lowest since March 2009. Sterling was little changed against the Euro at 1.2840.
