The possibility of a second Brexit referendum has increased.

The labour party voted on Tuesday for a policy that would lead to a new vote, if the Prime Minister failed to get an eventual Brexit deal through the UK Parliament.

Jeremy Corbyn is known to be a lifelong Euroskeptic, which propelled Corbyn into power, strongly supports staying in the EU and has forced the leadership's position to evolve. Delegates at the party conference in Liverpool, voted Strongly for a motion that calls for a second referendum if Parliament fails to approve an eventual deal.

If May comes back with a deal that does not meet our tests, and that looks increasingly likely, we will vote against her deal.  A vague or blind Brexit is a leap to nowhere, and we will have no part in it. A party spokesman said.

The Pound fell to $1.3050 against the dollar this morning. Sterling rose to 1.1249 against the Euro.
